Environmental Mission Statement

Our business is founded on a simple philosophy of fighting climate change by providing quality, affordable, integrated renewable energy solutions.   As a leading Renewable Energy company, we are conscious of the impact our industry has on the environment and fully intend to champion the cause. 

It is the policy of Rainbow Renewables Ltd to conduct its operations in a manner that is environmentally responsible and befitting of a good corporate neighbour and citizen.  In accordance with this policy, Rainbow Renewables Ltd complies with all environmental laws and manages all phases of its business in a manner that minimises the impact of its operations on the environment.  To further this policy Rainbow Renewables Ltd shall:

1. Comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations and voluntary commitments to which the company subscribes.
2. Eliminate, or reduce to the maximum practical extent, the release of contaminants into the environment, first through pollution prevention (material substitution and resource reduction), then recycling, and finally through the treatment and control technologies.
3. Effectively communicate with company employees, suppliers, regulators, and customers, as well as the surrounding community, regarding EMS performance.
4. We will continually assess the environmental impacts of our practises, past and present.  We will review and improve our policy on an annual basis. 
5. Actively encourages all its suppliers, contractors and customers carry out similar environmentally positive activities, and we favour those that do. 
6. Actively encourage employees carry out similar practices in their lives outside work.
